Lorax Discussion
The Once-ler says, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." What does the Once-ler mean? Can one person make a difference? Can you? What are some things you can do to better your own environment?
The person that can make the environment better is the Lorax because he saves trees

DeleteOnce-ler means......i dont know i havent seen the movie. One person can make a diffrence, an example is martin luther king jr, he was a normal person and he made a HUGE diffrence between blacks and whites.Some thing i could do to help the enviroment is pick up trash and recycle. jon.b
ReplyDeleteYes, one person can make a difference, little actions cause big reactions. I can by just not littering at the baseball field and using less papaer. Some things I can do better are stop climbing trees in my front yard so the branches don't snap and get my family to stop littering at the baseball field and find a trash can.

Ways we can make a difference in the environment is not littering or wasting paper or any nonrenewable things. Another way is recycling bottles and cans and other things. :) -R.D.K

Yea, one person can make a difference. You can reuse, reduce, and recycle. To reuse something you use it more than once. To reduce something means to get rid of something. Recycle means to put all your cans and bottles into a bin that crushes them to make something new. :) L.C.H

ReplyDeleteThe Onceler means that the world will never be the best it can possibly be unless a person or people cares to lend a hand. Yes, one person can make a difference because that person can plant a tree, and even though it is small it will encourage other people to do something big. I can make a difference by recycling, reusing, not littering, and not wasting. Some things I can do to better my environment are using both sides of paper, turning off lights when I'm not using them, and not leaving my 3DS on when I leave the house for school.
ReplyDeleteYou can make the world better by using both sides of a piece of paper so the trees dont go byby. Also you can get aperson you know and see if they want to recycle but if they dont just keep tying other people and see if they would like to recycle. K.L.
